Can I invite children aged over 5 years to my child’s birthday party?

Although the recommended age group for children in play sessions is 1-5 years of age, you are welcome to have older children during a party, as the play space is exclusively yours.

You can decide if you would like these older children to sit at the kids table and be included as a party guest or would they prefer to sit with the adults and not be included as a party guest.

What food can I bring to a party?

You are welcome to bring a cake/cupcakes, lolly bags, cookies etc.  We do not allow external food for children or adults to be bought into the café. Unless discussed with management prior to the function.

How many adults can attend a private function/birthday party?

Our café can accommodate for up to approx. 35 adults.  We usually have seating for approx. 20 adults.

Can I have an entertainer/face painter at my party?

You are welcome to hire an entertainer/face painter.   Since Hopscotch opened, we have had Super Heros, Fairies, Spider Man & Elsa just to name a few…

Can I organise games for my party?

You are welcome to play games such as pass the parcel, but from experience there is enough fun to be had in our imaginative play areas.

 

Do I need to bring music to play in the background?

Upon arrival we will discuss what background music you would like to have played during your party.  We have everything from nursery rhymes, movie soundtracks eg, Frozen, Disney Princess to Top 40.
